Among my favorite shows on TV is the Take Home Chef. Curtis Stone, a tall attractive chef scans the grocery or a supermarket usually looking for a pretty woman in her 20s or 30s. The good looking chef then asks her if she might be cooking for someone that night. If the lady says yes, Curtis then offers to help her make a wonderful gourmet dinner. If she responds affirmatively, he convinces the woman to take him to her home and use his services.

on a particular episode, Curtis founds a woman who tells him that she does not have a house, but lives in an RV instead. The chef was delighted and was excited to try something new. After they bought groceries, they went straight to the lady’s RV.

The scenes that followed just amazed me. If i had not watched the previous scenes and didn’t know that the lady lives in an RV I wouldn’t have noticed that the scenes were shot inside one. She had a few kids and a husband living there. The living room looked great and the kitchen was amazing. It looked like a regular home! They had neighbors that were living in toy haulers as well. It was a compound of trailer dwellers.

At the onset, these toy haulers were used for the sole purpose of carrying big toys like ATVs or motorcycles. From the scenes i saw on the episode, it seems that families have revolutionized the use of the trailer. By redesigning the thing they have made it into a contemporary house.
