There is no doubt whatsoever that the Jeep Wrangler looks mighty excellent even on the cemented roads of the city. However, this vehicle is not designed to rule the urban jungle and its pathways. Leave the city streets to the fancy cars, as the Jeep Wrangler prefers to conquer trails no luxury cars dare follow.

However, the Jeep Wrangler also has its flaws,which makes it a not-so good car to pick for various reasons. One is the open-air schematics of the vehicle. While driving with out the top may look cool if you are crossing state lines, it does not bode well in city traffic. Another reason is the lack of space available, which makes the Jeep Wrangler a not-so favorite candidate to become the family’s official ride.

One must understand that the Jeep Wrangler is not a statement of luxury. Owning one is certainly not a declaration of status. This 4×4 vehicle is not designed to provide a comfortable ride but rather conquer terrains and trails, even those that are deemed impassable. Frankly, the Jeep Wrangler is a declaration of passion for the Great Outdoors.

The Jeep Wrangler has been traversing the wild side of conventional driving and that is where the beauty of this vehicle can be found. Pits, muddy bogs, sand dunes, forest trails and rocky roads are just some of the terrains the Jeep Wrangler can surmount. Needless to say, the Jeep Wrangler is perfectly made for the these places. Places where fancy cars will ultimately look bad.

Many people view the Jeep Wrangler’s rugged frame and its outdoor feel as the source of its appeal. The argument on such point can certainly be made. However, one cannot deny that history also has its take on the Wrangler’s overall enticing grip for individuals who are attune to the Great Outdoors.

The Jeep Wrangler is designed to look a lot like the original Army Jeeps used in World War II. From that fact stems a sense of invitation to driving out of the box. While the WWII Army Jeeps have become an icon of liberation, the Jeep Wrangler, in a way, has become an icon of individualistic expression of freedom. One needs to badly want and own a Jeep Wrangler and feel the open air while driving to really know what individualistic expression of freedom really means.

The Jeep Wrangler has come a long way. From the its early crude designs with little features to its modern and sophisticated counterparts, the Jeep Wrangler changed little over the years.
