Meyer was found guilty twice for ‘gross egregious fraud” and ordered to pay US Dollars 25 000. 00 to two investors in 1996. Meyer died under mysterious circumstances supposedly of cerebral aneurysm on 21st March 1998 after a restaurant dinner.

Fact stranger than fiction- Meyers’ sudden death however lead conspiracy theorists to believe that he was poisoned by oil companies and the Government, who wanted to suppress the further development of this technology.
