Lincoln c concept
Lincoln presented its C concept on 2009 Detroit auto show, with the inspiration that luxury cars don’t have to be large.
Featuring a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine and Ford’s compleatley new dry, dual-clutch PowerShift six-speed transmission, the Lincoln C concept gets 43 mpg on the highway, while offering up an remarkable 180 hp and 180 ft.-lbs. of torque. PowerShift and terrific driving dynamics make the Lincoln C concept fun for the driver.
C’s interior feels light, fresh, and spacious. That’s a purpose of the interior’s persistently white color, but it’s also due in big measure to the glass roof that mimics the form of the Lincoln cross symbol. The interior’s potential for austerity has been more softened through the use of well-known stitching and laser-engraved seat etching (the color in the floral pattern is actually the next layer of leather peeking through).
