When the first car was invented and hit the road, it was a much simpler car then what we have today. The roads that they drove on were very rough and it caused a very uncomfortable ride. Because of that experience, improvements to the car began almost immediately.

Even in the earliest of cars, there were gauges designed to help the driver know how the car was performing. They have evolved over the years and improved again and again. We have actually eliminated a lot of car gauges and replaced them with warning lights that come on when there is a problem.

One of the most major improvements to our cars was the engine computer. Engine computers were designed to do a couple of things. They were designed to help our cars run more efficiently by controlling the air/fuel mixture as well. This helps to achieve a balance between the maximum power and the least amount of emissions possible.

Because the engine computer was such a success, the evolution of it turned into a full power train computer module. The main difference in the two is that the engine computer controls only the things about the engine while the power train module controls other aspects of the power train in addition to the engine

Another area where we have made improvements in our cars is safety. As we have gotten in accidents, we have learned what could make us safer in our cars and have implemented safety measures based on that research. Our safety in cars has continued to improve.

The one area that we have improved that has been the biggest reason for cars becoming more complex is in the area of comfort. Some of the things that we have in our cars as a result of demanding more comfort are air, power locks and windows and many more. While these things have complicated the car, they have also improved the car.

Cars have been considered a necessity for most every American for some time now. Especially in rural areas, it is impossible to do the daily things that need to be done without a car. Because of that, it makes sense that we have continued to make improvements to our cars to make them better.

There is no doubt that we will continue to make improvements to our cars. We are likely to make improvements in each area that we have discussed and potentially more. If you had one thing that you would like to see improved about the car you drive, what would that be?
