There are two ranges of sounds. One is the high range sound and the other is the low range sound. The high range sounds can be handled at speakers in the rear end, dash and door panels of the vehicle. But the lower tones and the bass effects are generally handled by the sub woofer which has got no other substitute. One should ensure that the sub woofers are wired properly. But how to wire dual sub woofer?

There are few tools required for accomplishment of this task. The usage of such tools will reduce the man power required and makes it easy to complete the task. It may include amplifier and dual speaker.

The first step is to check the impedance of the sub woofer. They come in many ranges of resistances or impedance. Four ohm and two ohm are the most common ranges available. This sub woofer may also be of dual voice coil they don have variations that are unusual. The very common type of sub woofer under using is the four ohm range. And so the plans for wiring are all designed so as to match this kind of sub woofer.

The woofer can be placed either in the cargo area at the rear back or the car’s trunk in the case of models like hatch backs or SUV .There are channels in the amplifiers. Then the amplifier position is located after which the manual is gone through for any kind of procedure to be followed.. To these channels the wire from the sub woofer is connected. The ends of these wires are stripped by an inch.

The connections are made through terminals amongst which push type is commonly used. In this type the wire is inserted into a hole which will open, when the lever connected to it is pushed. The steps are the instructions for dual channel amplifiers.

Amplifiers and sub woofers have different kinds of terminals. Push terminal is the most common type of terminal. This terminal pushes a small lever an a hole is generated. And the wire is slipped through this. A mono amplifier can also be used to wire a sub woofer. The step 2 is followed once again. The amplifier’s positive terminal is connected to the first sub woofer’s positive in the same way the negatives are also connected. These are repeated and also known as Daisy chaining often.

Now are woofers are connected.it should be noted that if the negatives and positives are mis- connected or not . These mis-connections will bring down the quality and the output of the music, because it disturbs the set up of the subwoofers. Thus it may result in malfunctioning of the woofer set. This will surely bring down the effects of the music. Subwoofers connected to dual or single channeled amplifier will not make much difference in the sound quality and music interpretations.

One should always know how to wire dual sub woofer, so as to have their car stereo and sub woofer working in a proper condition and to enhance good sound quality.
